The concept is “A Channel Built differently” as the channels programming schedule is based on reactions and interest from social media. Is a modern take on Lambie Nairn’s 1982 channel 4 ident. I shows the construction of the logo in a similar way, but it shows the greater number of components that are needed to make up the channel i.e. the people on social media that have influence on the channel. It also the more complex construction in a modern way, using new graphic styles, movement and lighting, to create a dynamic ident.
I have also made a selection of animated bumper screens to make the ident part of a bigger identity that would create a stronger brand. These bumpers screens are short and exciting, they show the logo being deconstructed in different and dynamic ways
